Endorsment for Final Project

Final project is the requirement for every student in order to get under graduation title. It is the way for student to contribute their knowledge in written form. Final project is very important, for it can be one of the evident of student ability in doing research. Nowadays, a discourse about the final project which is not compulsory for student suddenly spread out in the college sector. It means that final project does not become the only requirement for graduate from university. Actually, final project is very important

.

First, final project increase the student interest toward writing. Writing belongs to one of the realization of people intellectual. Student will be challenged to show how far they have been mastery toward particular subject. Final project which is not compulsory for student will degrease student interest toward writing. Without writing, in what way the student can show their capability toward particular field of study they have taken. For example, the student who study deeper about linguistic would better to make final project to practice what they have learned for about four years.

Second, final project is very important to build Indonesian students ability in doing research. Student can be assured lack of ability in doing research if they don not have to make final project. As a result, Indonesian student can not compete in the International scene which more emphasize of scientific work. We must know that Harvard University also still apply final project as the requrenment of graduation.

Third, Final project will help student in higher education lever. Do not forget, in the postgraduate program student must create thesis. The level of difficulties making thesis is higher than making final project. Thus, the student who has experienced in making final project can not face significant problem on making thesis. Beside as the requirement of graduating program, final project is also useful as the student experience. 

Thus, for the reasons above I can conclude that final project is the best way for student to pass their education. Final project is not only useful as the requirement of graduation but also improvement of student ability in doing research.

 Small Action to Decrease Global Warming Rate

Good morning ladies and gentlemen.

First, I would like to thank to god almighty and thank you for the time that given to me so I stand here to deliver a speech about  Small Action to Decrease Global Warming Rate.

Do you know global warming? I believe all of you exactly know about what the global warming is. Global warming nowadays is not only discussed by scientists but every people over the world also discuses it, because the effect of global warming can be felt by every people.  One of the effects of global warming is increasing the earth temperatures. It is proven by hot weather during the day and the night, right? Beside that, it also will make diseases transmission is going very easy, like many kind of dangerous diseases we can find now such as e-bola and avian-flu that their transmission using air. Not only that, it is also proven by increasing the sea level in the world, for example in Indonesia it increase O.8 cm/year. If this condition keeps going, what will happen with our earth? May be many small islands in Indonesia will disappear. And there is much other effect that I can not explain one by one.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reported that scientists were more than 90% certain that most of global warming was being caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases produced by human activities, carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions, cement production, and land use changes such as deforestation. If we don’t take action soon, so what will happen with our earth, the place we are living, now? I think Indonesian hasn’t been care about the importance of keeping our earth. We still find many people doing the illegal logging; beside the Indonesian forest is the lung of the world.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am in here just want to reminding you to save our earth and decrease the global warming rate. In what way? From now, please decrease the personal vehicle using. We can use the mass transportation like UNNES bus. In this way we contribute in decreasing the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air. Then please decrease the air conditioner (AC) using, because AC contains CFC that can make many big holes in ozone layer. Ozone layer is such a gasses blanket which protects earth from UV ray. And the third, decrease paper using. Because paper is made by tree, so I can say that many papers using it mean many trees cutting. 

In short, Please save our earth by do those small actions.

Mysterious Calendar

In a small town lived a small family in their old house. This family consisted of father, mother, son and a daughter. The father named James was crazy about collecting unique things. Mrs. James was crazy about shopping. The 9-years-old daughter named Ann was a genius person. Beside the 14-years-old Son named Brandy was a naughty boy.

On a very hot day, Mr. James in brown coat hunted for the unique thing in an old shop which he never seen before. He opened the wood door. How happy he was when he saw that place full of many old unique things covered with dust. He rang the bell three times. And then an old man in black suit came forward to him. “Welcome in my shop sir, you can get anything what you want.” he said. “Of course, thank you”, James answered. He walked coming close to every unique things. Finally he chose the old electric calendar. Although, it appearance was so poor in quality but it still worked.

In their house, Brandy was disturbing Ann as usual. Brandy was so jealous with his little sister. He hoped his sister never born, so his parent could totally care about him. “I’m coming.” James screamed immediately. Ann and Brandy ran into him, “Horey father coming!” both of them screamed. “Oh ... my dear please stay away from me, I bring this one. Please don’t disturb me!” He said. Brandy blamed his sister as the cause of this condition. Their father didn’t care again with them.

At night, when everybody was sleeping, Brandy walked to the father’s bedroom. He stole his father’s calendar. “Because of this stupid calendar, now father don’t care about me anymore.” he whispered. Then, he changed the calendar format. He placed back it in the father’s desk.

In the morning, Brandy woke up, then he took a bath also went to the school. But, there was something strange. He felt this day same with yesterday. From woke up, got bad mark in the examination until found his father brought a new calendar. In the next day, he found that he still was 13 years old. Six days later he found he was 8 year old. He became panic since he couldn’t find his sister. He asked his father “father, where is Ann?” “Ann? Is she your girl friend?” His father said. Brandy just realized that the time ran back, it was the reason why his father didn’t know about Ann, she had not born yet.

Brandy tried to think how to solve this serious problem he had made. He must find that electric calendar, but now he was just 8-yeasr-old boy. He missed his little sister. He was so regret.

Brandy came out from his house. He saw his grandpa who had dead 6 years ago was sitting in front of his house. “Hi grandpa, what are you doing here?” brandy said. “I’m enjoy the scenery in here, why you so confused my dear?” grandpa asked. “Yeah, I’m confused about the date.” He answered. “You can check it in my calendar my dear, it is in my bedroom.” Grandpa said. Before Brandy went to the grandpa’s bedroom, he gave a big hug to his beloved grandpa who he missed so much.

How surprise Brandy, when he saw the electric calendar in the grandpa’s desk which he was looked for. He changed the date in that calendar. Brandy just realized that his grandpa’s bedroom was became his father’s bedroom in the future. And the calendar’s position same with when he put it after he changed that calendar format on that night. Brandy promised would take care his little sister. Finally, he back to the real date. Brandy was 14 years old. And then, he gave a big hug to his little sister who was watching Tv. Ann just saw at him confusedly.

Finally, Brandy thought if he must destroy that mysterious calendar. Then, he walked to the center of the town. In there he saw an old shop which he never seen before. Finally he sold it in there. After he came out from that shop, the tall man in brown coat walked forward to that shop.

Story

The soldier confused to choose between two doors in front of him. His choice would be determining his life. He walked up to the right door. Then, he took hold of the door’s handle but he didn’t open it. He walked up to the left door and opened it immediately. How surprise he was when he saw a very huge lion inside the door. The lion looked very cruel. The soldier went back step by step but his eyes still observed the lion intently. Beside, the lion walked up to the soldier step by step, then ran to him.  The soldier was very afraid. He ran in the edge of the Colloseum with the lion ran behind him. If it could be count, they ran for about 50 times. Then, they were in a big struggle in the middle of the Colloseum. The lion throw it paw right in the soldier’s cheek. The poor soldier flew also hit the wall then fell head first in the ground. After saw a tragic condition, the princes with her brave took apart in this big struggle. She throw some knife she was taken from the kitchen in to the lion, however there was no knife hit the lion. The princes changed the lion’s attention from the poor soldier. It tried to pounce on the princes. Because of the power of love, the soldier woke up then took his long sword. He stubbed the lion with his sword right in the lion’s heart. Finally the cruel big lion died. Both the soldier and the princes cried then they made a big hug. All spectators including the King were compassion. He gave bless to them. Suddenly, a beautiful woman in white dress came out from the right door then he made a very nice smile. The King fell in love with her in his first sight. How surprised he was when he realized that the woman was his ex-girl friend. Finally both the father and the princes married their couple in the same time. And they lived happily ever after in their own palace.
