The Long Process in Writing

 

Writing is a bit difficult activity for me. Not only the problem about what should I write, but also the problem about my confusedness toward many rules in writing. But actually there are some steps to make it easier for me. I got it from my beautiful lecturer, Mrs. Zulfa.  There are four steps I have to pass in writing. They are brainstorming, drafting, finalizing and proofreading. Brainstorming is one of the steps which I like very much. This step requires me to think base on my point of view. I like imagined anything from very general up to very specific detail base on topic. This method very helps me to collect ideas that available with the topic. The next step is drafting. To start this step, we must have willingness to do it. Once I don’t feel like starting writing, my paragraph will not finish. People said that it is difficult to start than continuous. I totally agree with its quote. So, In order to pass this step, I force my self to write at least one or two sentences. Then, the third step is finalizing. After finishing writing the paragraph, this is time for me to make sure that I don’t make any mistakes in grammar, punctuation, diction, coherence and cohesion. In the last step, I need the other people to become a proof reader. As, the process correcting my paragraph by the other people called proof reading. I also must selective to choose people to become my proof reader if I want my work to be better than before. Although must pass a very long steps in writing, but I am so proud if I have done my own paragraph. I’ll be very happy, If It can be publish.
